great location but needs better amenities
The location was ideal, as it was walkable to the UAB hospital. The valet service was exceptional, with friendly staff who made a great first impression. The lobby had a charming bar area that added a nice touch to our stay.
However, the seating options in the room were not comfortable enough for long relaxation.

The location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions, and we appreciated that it was so close to restaurants and bars. The room itself was spacious and had a nice shower, which was a highlight for us. However, the lack of a refrigerator was noticeable during our stay, and the noise from nightlife made it a bit hard to relax. Still, the charm of the local area and friendly bartenders helped make our visit enjoyable.

Parking hassles ruin the stay
The lobby's vibrant decor caught my eye as soon as I stepped inside, making a memorable first impression. Check-in was smooth, and the bar had a lively atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the valet service was chaotic and unprofessional. I had to chase down my car multiple times, which marred my overall experience.

Some noise disturbances from nearby nightlife.

Walking to the parking garage is exhausting!!! Elevators sound like they'll break any minute!!! Valet service is confusing and ineffectual!!! No adjusting room temperature without asking!!! Common areas in desperate need of cleaning!!!

Not what I expected for the price
Took a nice hot shower that was relaxing, which was a real highlight after a long day. The staff at the bar was friendly and made a fantastic drink when I asked for something fruity, one of those little things that made it feel more cute!
It wasn't cheap by any means, but I guess it was still okay.

Had a great time in the trendy area! The bar downstairs served high-end cocktails and had a cool, entertaining vibe.
Felt like treated like royalty, no complaints.

Oh man, you gotta try the local eats! The Original Pancake House just down the street is a must for breakfast vibes. Plus, the hotel lobby had a bar, which despite being 'mediocre' had its charm when your tummy rumbles after exploring. Also, the spacious suites left some room for comfort!
The overpriced stay wasn’t worth it—crazy noise from the nightlife and a barely functioning shower! Don't even get me started on the elevator drama.

We enjoyed an evening out at The Nick, where the live music really resonated with my teenagers. Very convenient location meant we could easily walk to nearby attractions and savor local eats.
In my wife’s opinion, the parking situation was frustrating. An upgrade to a more secure parking garage would really benefit families with children.

missingWrote a review on 29 Aprrelentless noise
Unfortunately, the noise from nearby bars and clubs is relentless, with music and revelry penetrating the room well into the night. My experience with the shower was less than stellar. the water pressure was weak, and I struggled with inadequate heating. Additionally, both elevators were malfunctioning during my stay, which caused significant delays, especially on busy nights. The absence of a fridge or microwave made it inconvenient for storing or reheating leftovers, which is a real bummer when you're trying to maximize your stay.
